Our Family Legal Protection policy can help you or a member of your family if you are unfairly dismissed at work or

Our policy provides a range of cover to help you and your family with legal matters and offers experienced professional

1. Free phone Legal Advice Line - a 24 hour help line for legal advice for the cover holder and their families.
2. Damages sustained in the course of employment - costs up to £50,000 for making a claim for damages, including
costs of an appeal in respect of death or bodily injury, sustained by the insured or a member of their family in the
course of their employment. Also legal costs and expenses that they or a member of their family may become liable
to pay to another party in making a claim for damages or compensation.
3. Employment Disputes - up to £5,000 for the insured’s legal costs and expenses for the insurer to negotiate for their
legal rights concerning a claim by them or a member of their family, against an employer for unfair or wrongful
dismissal, redundancy or unlawful discrimination.
4. Tax Protection – the insurer will negotiate on the insured’s behalf and represent them in any appeal proceedings in
respect of a full enquiry by the Inland Revenue into their tax affairs provided the enquiry resulted from the insured’s
work as an employee.
5. Jury Service - provides protection for the insured’s salary or wages whilst attending Jury Service.
6. Legal Defence – defence of an insured person’s legal rights arising out of the carrying out of their duties as an
Employee.
7. Contract Disputes – negotiation of an insured’s rights in a contractual dispute under the buying, hiring or selling of
goods.
8. Identity Theft Assistance – Identity theft and fraud protection cover.
9. Property Protection – negotiation of legal rights in a civil action relating to material property.
